On 7-12 November, 2016 the University of Burgundy (L'Universite de Bourgogne, Dijon, France) hosted the international conference "Staff Week" dedicated to issues of building a system of cooperation between European higher educational institutions. The Russian New University (RosNOU) was represented at the conference by Prof. Vladimir M. Pizengolts (Faculty of Business Technologies). In the course of the conference Prof. Pizengolts had an opportunity to discuss possibilities of cooperation between RosNOU and universities of France, Great Britain, Spain, Croatia and Greece.
On 13 November Prof. Pizengolts had a protocol meeting in Paris with the delegation of Higher School of Engineering (HEI – Hautes Etudes D’ingenieur) headed by Dr. David F. Perry. The meeting resulted in signing a framework agreement on cooperation which will be the first step toward creating joint educational programmes, including double degree programmes, programmes on academic mobility of professors and scientists and student exchange programmes.
The agreement also announces the intention to conduct joint scientific and research activities. In the near future the parties are going to draw a schedule of lectures that will be delivered by professors of RosNOU and HEI to Russian and French students.
