On 14 June, 2016 the British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) published a dedicated ranking of the top universities in Emerging Europe and Central Asia – QS University Rankings: EECA 2016.
QS revised higher education institutions of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine.
The research took into account academic reputation, employer reputation, proportion of the number of students to the number of professors, specific weight of foreign professors and students as well as employees with academic degrees, web impact and publication activity.
Russian New University (RosNOU) got into the rating upon the“Web Impact” criterion. RosNOU was placed on the 55th position among all the universities in the rating and on the 13th position among the Russian universities represented in the rating.
Earlier, in January 2016, the web-site of RosNOU got into top-50 university web-sites in Russia according to two international ratings.
