On November 28–29, 2018, the International Symposium on Nanophysics and Nanomaterials was held at the St. Petersburg Mining University. The event was devoted to the introduction of modern technologies at the enterprises of the mineral resource sector.
More than a hundred representatives of leading universities, research institutions and specialized enterprises of Russia, the USA, Great Britain, Brazil, Austria, Greece, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Tajikistan participated in the plenary and breakout sessions. The main topic of discussion was the use of modern methods in the field of nanostructural protection of metal structures at mining enterprises.
The Russian New University (RosNOU) at the symposium was presented by the head of the department of nanomaterials technology Vladimir Rybalko. In the framework of the roundtable, he made a report “Electrocrystallization of nanowires in a double-layer bath”, prepared jointly with representatives of the South Russian State Polytechnic University.
