On April 28, 2019, the Russian New University (RosNOU) took part in the first Moscow Student Easter Festival. The festival was attended by students of twelve Moscow universities.
The festival was held in the New Square near the Russian Orthodox University. The theme of the artistic platform and the concert venue of the holiday was the revival of church architecture in Moscow. The organizer was the Consortium of Value-Oriented Educational Organizations with the support of the Commission for Work with Universities and the Scientific Community at the Diocesan Council of Moscow.
Participants of the festival painted two-meter models of Easter eggs. The works were evaluated by a jury composed of the Deputy Head of the Rosobrnadzor N. A. Naumov, the Head of the Russian Union of Designers V. V. Stavitsky, the Honored Artist of Russia A. V. Stekolschikov.
“Our university was represented by students and graduates Igor Knyazev, Christina Zvyagina, Irina Vanyan, Anastasia Smirnova and Pavel Golovanov,” – said Natalia V. Butorova, Head of the Department for Youth Affairs and Educational Work of RosNOU. – “RosNOU team painted the model with acrylic paint. It took two days to create the work. The Head of the University School of Artists Andrei Litvinenko helped them in painting and creating the image.”
According to the results of the festival, the Russian New University received a laureate diploma in the nomination “Possession of Selected Equipment”.
The festive event ended with a charity auction.
